Its structural stability is far superior to simple on-site composite panels. The overall structure employs a three-layer physically interlocking composite construction: the top and bottom layers are hot-dip galvanized steel plates, and the middle layer is a high-density, asbestos-free fiber-reinforced cement core material.
Fine, interlocking holes are punched into the steel plate surface, and during pressing, the cement-based substrate embeds into these holes, forming a mechanical interlock. The entire process is independent of chemical adhesives, eliminating the risk of delamination, bulging, and detachment in high-temperature and humid environments. The standard thickness of the galvanized steel plate is 0.5mm, but a thicker galvanized layer can be added for coastal areas with high salt spray and strong corrosion. The core material is a mixture of high-purity quartz sand, inorganic mineral fibers, and low-alkali, crack-resistant cement. The interwoven fiber mesh within the plate layer gradually dissipates the kinetic energy generated by explosive shock waves and heavy impacts, unlike the rigid impact resistance of hard concrete, significantly reducing secondary safety accidents caused by flying debris after an explosion.
Compared to traditional protective building materials, lightweight is an irreplaceable core advantage. A single square meter of rectangular plate weighs only 36kg, only one-fifth the weight of a concrete wall of the same protective level. New factory buildings do not require additional foundation reinforcement, and renovations of older factory areas do not require demolition of the original building structure; the protective plates can be directly installed, significantly reducing construction costs.
