Cold-bonding method: Use a squeegee to evenly apply a cold adhesive such as polymer-modified asphalt adhesive or cold mastic to the base surface, ensuring a uniform thickness. While laying the explosion-proof panels, use a rubber stick to push the panels and expel air until compacted. When the ambient temperature is below 15°C, hot-melt treatment should be used at the overlapped joints and panel ends.
Before laying explosion-proof panels, the approved base should be cleaned thoroughly and dust removed from corners. Apply the base treatment agent evenly and avoid repeated application. After the base treatment agent has dried, first apply the additional layer of waterproofing to the roof and underground waterproofing areas as required according to the design.
Determine the order and direction of laying the explosion-proof panels, mark the base, and then lay the panels. The following requirements should be followed for the different areas of the panels. Roof: Explosion-proof panels should be pasted to the base layer in points or strips. The 800mm perimeter of the roof should be fully pasted. For slope roofs, if the pasting area is more than 70%, the explosion-proof panels should be 100% fully pasted to each other.
